Sharpermead - Photos and Thoughts from Scott Harper

Here is a link to a virtual tour of a 28 hour hike that I did in the Chugach State Park out of Eagle River, Alaska on June 21 and 22, 2013. I started out at the Mile Hi trailhead and hiked up to the saddle to Tucker Mountain, Mount Magnificent, around the headwaters of Meadow Creek, up Mile Hi peak, over to Vista peak, Black Tail Rocks, and down to the Baldy trailhead. The beginning had lots of clouds and fog, but it ended up being predominantly clear. A cold front came in and it was too cold for me to sleep with my light gear. Fortunately, this is Alaska over the Solstice and I had enough light to hike and photograph throughout the night. Although on the 22nd I did not take too many photos because I was exhausted and had previously taken photos on that part of the trail before. I only put in a few hotspots because I found them somewhat distracting from the overall pano. I think I will make a second copy of the tour and place more hotspots and name places on it. Feel free to email me if you have any suggestions.
